Executive Assistant
Current- Direct support for the Chief Nursing Officer- Act as a point of contact among executives, employees, clients, and external partners- Manage the CNO’s calendar while avoiding conflicts and prioritizing the appropriate meetings- Format information for internal and external communication – memos, email, presentations, expense reports- Facilitate committee meetings, develop agendas, track action items, package appropriate documents for future review/approval from following committees- Screen and direct phone calls and distribute correspondence- Uphold confidentiality standards across all communication and documentation platforms- Conduct research and develop requested reports- Collaborate with HR department to facilitate prospective recruitment for leadership positions- Train new administrative assistants/coordinators- Aid in team building activities for executive and director’s direct reports- Liaison to all nursing departments hospital wide of executive’s availability- Assist in running recognition programs for nurses such as DAISY Award, It Takes Three Initiative, and nurses’ week- Arrange business travel by coordinating flights, hotel reservations, and conference registrations- Review and screen accuracy of policies, invoices, travel requests, business contracts, temp hire approvals, and database privileges
