Started my career in Radio/Television in St.Paul AB. From there I spent a few years moving around Alberta working as a radio show host before moving to B.C in 2019. In Comox I worked as a news reporter and weekend show host for 2 years. During my time there I had the opportunity to work with amazing people and gain invaluable skills as a news anchor, radio host, co-worker and leader. We spent 9 months without an official boss, so during that time I worked collaboratively with my co-workers to ensure a smooth system.After that I moved back to my hometown to work for the Government of Alberta as a Legislative Coordinator. I had the honour of working for MLA Roger Reid and MLA Searle Turton. After that point I was fortunate enough to be accepted as a Ministerial Assistant for Minister Joseph Schow, and then for Minister Jason Nixon and now in my communications role with the Ministry of Technology and Innovation.
