Have hired a CFO, and now report to the CFO. I manage the financial planning and analysis processes through rapid expansion and rapid contraction, including RIFs, debt and equity raises, and M&A. I represent Finance in board meetings and other strategic events, while being a trusted advisor to executive management and building out technology tools, leveraging a global team across multiple time zones.

Fractional Head of Finance for Silicon Valley startups. Typically the first resource dedicated to finance, which requires cleaning up existing processes and building out teams, systems, and processes to allow clients to continue to scale and support the needs of a quickly growing organization. Develop a strong working relationship with client executive management and service providers, and then remain in that role until the client is ready to hire a full-time finance team. When a full-time team is being hired, I build out a structured transition plan to train and hand-off of key processes. Became deeply embedded in manufacturing and distribution processes to create accurate financial models and improve workflows. Integrated financial data from Hyperion and SAP with transactional data from a Cognos (IBM) Enterprise Data Warehouse. Central is $2B CPG company with customers including: Walmart, Lowes, Home Depot, Petco, and PetSmart (NASDAQ:CENT/CENTA). Working with a small team reporting to the Chairman and CEO, I joined to design, deploy, and lead repeatable SKU-level net profit modeling across 14 business units (with 14 ERPs).
