ERP upgrade for critical business within Thales Australia. Implementation of the ERP migration from legacy system to support future and ongoing projects, including modern defence vehicle, Hawkei.-Training: With Infor consultants to learn the technical and administrative details of the selected solution: LN. Review of all tasks and all tools involved in the Administrator role.-Analysis: Of the needs of the business throughout the training/testing/deployment processes. Defining processes and tools to adapt to roles and stages of the project.-Management: Training users to best practices as well as backup Administrator to perform tasks as well as I would. Liaising with different roles within the IT department (Business Analysts, Database/Network administrators, …) to report on tasks advancement as well as with Project Managers.-Problem solving: Central point of contact for business users, IT consultants and contractor to define, log and solve issues, both technical and administrative with the new ERP application.

Development of the Treasury department’s web application linking Thales Australia to ANZ and BNP banks and the central Treasury system in France. The platform handles transactional requests with full approvals workflows covering management of all transactions for cash management, trade finance, foreign exchange and payment management.-Analysis: Taking into account the client and user needs to define the scope of the project. Learning and understanding of financial and treasury processes within Thales and with our banks.-Project management through the life of the project (Specifications, design, test and implementation) of the web application. Functions based on modules with customized user access. For every module developed, constant feedback of the client and end-users following SCRUM methodology. Integration of auditors recommendations in existing processes.-Change Management: Definition of technical specifications during the request for proposal (RFP) to identify and implement a better and more suited transactional solution for Thales Australia. Discussions with well-recognized banks (ANZ, BNP, JP Morgan, CBA, Citi) and redaction of technical requirements for the candidates. Reported to Senior Management in the final choice and discussed with the retained banks to define, implement, test and deploy new solutions.-Upgrade requirements: Writing of an enhanced documentation to promote an evolution of the Treasury System and presentation to the Thales Australia CFO. Ensuing discussion and negotiation with external vendors to define and implement a solution involving the Treasury Managers.-Personal improvements: Global understanding of Financial operations within a large company. Improvements of users requirements understanding, especially in a Finance environment, and improved dialogue with the different involved parties (CFO, Treasury, Banks, Reporting department, Vendors…)

My final thesis at EPITA consists of working on a 3D flash application which will be integrated to the French presidency website. That application will show on a terrestrial globe the presidents trips around the world.

I developed a ticketing system tool which is integrated into a Microsoft Office SharePoint intranet.During this internship, I was part of the internal tools team which is under the IT responsibility.The tool was fully developed under the .Net sdk 3.5 and with ASP.Net too.

World's premier student technology competition organised by Microsoft with over 8000 participants from 60 different countries.My team reached the world finals (7th out of 400 teams) and became French champion in embedded development developing an ecological cart:-Development of the OS based on Windows CE and of the software using WPF.-Prototyping of the solution using an emulated PDA environment.-Generation of proper documentation including market analysis, solution details and implementation.-Marketing of the final product and presentation to a jury of IT specialists.
