Responsible for introducing and implementing a planning/project management function within the business. Building detailed, logic driven end-to-end schedules across numerous sites to track and prioritise all activities from land acquisition through planning, technical, commercial, construction & sales. Project managing all interfaces to ensure that drawings, materials and contractors are produced and procured in a timely manner to support construction activities on site. Provision of lookahead schedules to all departments on a weekly basis. Weekly site visits to update construction progress, map contractor trends, and capture areas of concern on site, providing mitigating actions to maintain schedules. Responsible for developing management reports and presenting these to the MD and Construction Director on a weekly basis including build forecasts against baselines, manpower histograms, earned value analysis and KPIs. Running monthly project review meetings across numerous sites and conducting close out meetings once builds are complete. Compiling and publishing lessons learned to utilise for new sites to improve processes & procedures to streamline the business.

Responsible for Topside Engineering & Procurement, facilitating contractors in working to a very compressed schedule, risk analysis, input to corporate procedures, producing what-if schedules, and detailed progress analysis. Mitigating package delays and releasing holds in a timely manner to feed Construction. Review and analysis of contractors schedules, progress measurement, creating integrated schedule, reporting & forecasting tools as well as ensuring compliance with the contract. Seconded in to Contractors team to facilitate improved forecasting, analysis & reporting.

Working on FGP FEED responsible for Process & Utility areas, Substations & Gathering System. Managing the contractor, running schedule sensitivities on alternate fabrication locations & logistics scenarios and FEED mitigations to meet the final investment decision and move directly into Execution. Also working with multiple FEED contractors to facilitate the flow of information in to the Integrated Schedule, report progress & mitigate delays.

Working within SDK’s Project Team and responsible for the Onshore section of Kashagan’s Phase II FEED managing interfaces between Shell, Agip, EP and Execution teams, aligning schedule, Cost, Contracts & Estimate and liaising on a daily basis with FEED Contractors providing full planning, work management and analysis to assess progress, ensure deliverables are in line with contractual requirements and provide updates to the management teams of both Shell and Agip in London & Milan. Duties also include assisting the Cost Reduction Team by providing high level schedules for a number of additional Concept Screening Cases.

Coordinating the integration of 20 Onshore EPC & FEED Contracts (totalling 35m Manhours), effectively validating monthly schedule input, managing interfaces and working closely with contractors to align their process requirements with the company's & create the Overall Onshore Programme. Responsibilities include daily liaison with site teams to review risks, weekly progress meetings with Area Managers highlighting delays & mitigation plans, monthly presentations of Milestone Schedules to Project Director and periodic presentations to Partners with status updates. Also included is the preparation of forecast schedules based on productivity and progress analysis, as well as a suite of S-Curves for both Onshore & the overall project.

Developed detailed construction networks, project control schedules, baseline schedules, summary bar charts and MPD milestones. Was responsible for monitoring, verifying and reporting project progress and performance to both Infraco JNP and LUL. Created and maintained programmes for unapproved future projects. Preparation of weekly and monthly reports to highlight prospective clashes with other programmed works. Liaised closely with sub-contractors for construction progress, mitigated any future issues and risks arising. Liaised with Tech Cap discipline engineers to co-ordinate resources and station/track priorities.Worked with Cost Engineer to create and maintain a Cost Strategy.

Planned British Gas Engineers' work up to three week in advance for two extensive South Yorkshire areas. Organising engineers' daily workload to maximise productivity. Responsible for achieving, and driving engineers to meet weekly and monthly productivity milestones. Liaised with Field managers to establish engineer work rosters. Worked closely with other planners to establish a team strategy. Organised regular team building events.
