Jonathan Gonda is a film studio executive whose background crosses all genres and spans animation, book-to-film, IP-to-film, and original projects. Currently, as Executive Vice President of Production with Paramount Pictures, he oversees the studio’s slate of films with a particular focus on franchise management. Notably, Jonathan led the production of some of Paramount’s top box office hits of all time, including Top Gun: Maverick (2022), Mission: Impossible—Fallout (2018), Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning (2023), Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves (2023), Transformers: Rise of the Beasts (2023), and Bumblebee (2018); as well as the forthcoming A Quiet Place: Day One (2024) and The Naked Gun (2025).Prior to joining Paramount Pictures in 2017, Jonathan served as a Production Executive in Warner Bros. Pictures Feature Film Group. There, he managed 80+ projects in development and oversaw major pictures including Crazy Rich Asians (2018), The LEGO Batman Movie (2017), and The Accountant (2016). Jonathan gained experience in content development for international markets, working closely with WB Germany and WB China on slate building.Jonathan is uniquely committed to supporting the generation of new ideas for feature film content. At Warner Bros., he led the development of the Emerging Film Directors Workshop, which attracted more than 5,000 applications from around the world in its inaugural year. Earlier in his career, at Twentieth Century Fox, Jonathan was instrumental in launching the Fox Writer’s Studio, a think-tank of screenwriters writing original movies.
