While with the Oracabessa Foundation I was responsible for pioneer planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of program and service operations. I oversaw strategic planning, fundraising and budget administration, recruitment and training, and community engagement initiatives. Responsible for advising and collaborating with Board of Directors to develop organization’s mission objective, vision, and strategic plan. I secured funding and managed the Foundation's annual budget as well as defined policies, procedures, and processes for staffing, program delivery, bookkeeping, and accounting. I mentored and coached the team team, facilitated training, and implemented continuous process improvements to ensure compliance to execute operational standards and organizational objectives. Establish professional relationships and strategic partnerships with community groups, funders, politicians, and other organizations. • Effectuated increase of annual budget from $80-thousand to over $300-thousand. • Prepared and submitted several six-figure grants totaling $1.2-million. • Secured donor funding from clients including UNDP/ GEF/SGP, CaribSave, Seacology, Counterpart International, Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, Australian DAP Project, Tourism Enhancement Fund, USA BMX, Fetzer Institute, Sports Development Foundation, Digicel Foundation, and McCutcheon Foundation. • Instigated the Oracabessa Bay Fish Sanctuary which revolutionized Jamaica’s community-based marine protected area management, resulting in 1,700% increase in fish biomass, 150% increase in coral coverage, and 47% decrease in algae coverage. • Designed and delivered youth-focused bicycle riding instructional program - Two Wheels, One Love. • Created Jacks River Skills Training Centre in partnership with community of Jacks River and HEART - Jamaica’s National Training Agency - resulting in the first employment opportunity to over 400 individuals within the hospitality industry.

Piloted the installment of the foundation’s sport development division, managing the execution of several sport-related projects. Prepared and proposed grants and acquired funding and sponsorship by establishing partnerships and soliciting to donors. Singletrack Jamaica is Jamaica's premiere mountain biking tour operator. Our signature event is the Jamaica Fat Tyre Festival which runs in February each year.

As Director of MTB and BMX for the Jamaica Cycling Federation I was responsible for developing the 'people, places and pathways' for each sport.

I founded BMX Jamaica - the BMX racing affiliate of the Jamaica Cycling Federation. BMX Jamaica built and operates the first BMX racing track in the English speaking Caribbean

The Jumpball Basketball Programme is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing the youth of Jamaica (and now Haiti) the opportunity to learn self-esteem, dedication, camaraderie, and the fundamentals of basketball. Our flagship event is the Jumpball Basketball Clinic in Kingston which has over 300 players and 50 coaches each July. As Director I'm responsible for overseeing the overall direction of the Programme and also handle local (Jamaican) fundraising and clinic logistics.

The St. Mary Off-Road Bicycling Association (SMORBA) was a not-for-profit, voluntary organization dedicated to finding and maintaining mountain biking opportunities on Jamaica's north coast. It has since been subsumed under the Singletrack Jamaica umbrella.

St. Ann'S Bay, Jamaica

Worked with a small three-person team to implement the Jamaica Kite Festival - which grew to be (at the time) the biggest family-oriented event in the Caribbean with over 50,000 attendees. My responsibilities included sponsorship, event management and logistics, promotion and volunteer coordination.

Established the first Jamaica Basketball Association-affiliated organization (outside of Kingston) in Jamaica. Responsible for all aspects of organization operations including: sponsorship, league management, technical operations and facility management. Successfully executed high school and men's basketball leagues, summer camps and technical staff training seminars.

I worked as a small business advisor to a local women's organic farming collective. During the course of my service I helped train members in sustainable organic farming techniques as well as providing business training and support to establish an organic produce outlet in the parish capital.
