I have more than 20 years’ experience as a corporate partner, managing market-leading teams in the south east region whilst continuing to act as a lead advisor on M&A transactions, predominantly acting for ambitious, entrepreneurial businesses and acquisitive companies from Uk and internationally.I have twice been named Corporate Lawyer of the Year at the Insider South East Deal Maker Awards, and the DMH Stallard Corporate Department, which I lead, was named Corporate Law Firm of the Year four times in the last ten years.The team operates across the South East and London, with Helen Mead now leading Guildford, and Chris Simmons London.Recent deal have included:Acquisition by French manufacturing group CGR of John Binns &Sons (Springs), based in Skipton, North Yorkshire. This was CGR’s first acquisition in the UK.Sale of content and curation provider - Anders Pink, founded in Brighton, to Australian based Go1. This deal was a share sale transaction completed in 2 weeks, from introduction to closing.Angel investment and non exec contract, to bring first external investment into Brighton based Best at Digital Ltd, for whom I completed an MBO in 2020.Other recent significant deals:Sale of Monty’s Bakehouse, a Surrey based airline food and food solutions provider to Singaporean SATS (February 2020).MBO of Brighton based Best at Digital from US international business Cornerstone (Autumn 2020).Sale of the Jointing Technology group, comprising Langley Engineering Ltd, Toolout Ltd and Jointing Technologies Ltd, to the Wolseley Group (Autumn 2021).Sale of Commercial waste and recycling company Reef Environmental Services to Paper Round (2022).Sale of international compliance business CCL Compliance to Wyastone, a leading PE backed provider of governance, risk and compliance services (2021).Sale and MBO of non urgent patient transport provided by E Zec Medical Transport Services to PE funder Cairngorm (2021).I am also a member of the DMH Stallard Senior Management Team.email: jonathan.grant@dmhstallard.com
