Responsible for sales of Oracle Fusion Middleware for National Accounts in Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska and Oklahoma. Fusion Middleware sales includes SOA Suite, WebCenter Content, Portal, and Sites, WebLogic App Server, and BPM Suite.Highlights include Middleware Rep of the quarter, Q1 2014 and Middleware Rep of the year, 2014.

Developed and led process to build a consolidated portfolio with Kill, Cap & Grow designations for rationalization of applications. Led many enterprise level planning exercises to review and evaluate different aspects of the system portfolio including TCO and ownership of all applications at Embarq. Prepared roadmaps and program plans in support of Embarq’s business and I/T initiatives. Led process to gather and prioritize I/T sponsored application projects for 2008 enabling a system plan to be built 3 months earlier than ever before. Evangelized and helped build executive support for Embarq to pursue a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) which is now being horizontally implemented. Recommended and coauthored the governance model for the SOA implementation.

Chosen to form and lead new Account Management Team that would focus on any areas of concern in the relationship between Business groups and Information Technology. Partnered with the Directors for Web Development, Mainframe Development, Human Resources and Training to ensure that programs and processes aligned into a unified strategic vision and fit into a Target State Architecture for Sprint. Team was formed and made great progress towards bridging the gap that was forming between the Business and IT.

Managed an extremely diverse team with as many as 50 developers, testers and project managers primarily focused on Web development in different areas of the Business. Partnered with business clients to determine marketing strategy of several key eBusiness sites. Evaluated and recommended changes to teams that needed to be scaled down due to economics of the business. Led strategic planning sessions for newly formed Enterprise Web Solutions, building a three-year roadmap for the organization. Led Target State Architecture planning sessions to determine the technology platforms to be implemented and built upon as part of Sprint’s transformation initiatives. Responsible for building out a large Web Site from a proof of concept stage to a fully functioning system, including interfacing with legacy systems for transaction processing. Defined strategic vision to enable www.sprint.com/localbusiness to be the highest rated Sprint Business site. Led initiatives to take advantage of the newest version of BEA’s WebLogic and Personalization Server software. Managed each implementation of a commerce engine, content management system, and personalization engine. Managed team comprised of twelve to twenty developers and testers. Site was responsible for approximately five million dollars in revenue for 2001, a number that was far exceeded in 2002. Served as Director, Information Systems during Director's absence.

Managed 7 full-time employees and consultants, with responsibility for their career development. Responsible for the technical support and Operations of a large Business System with over 3000 end users. Liaison for all vendors in support of the same project. Managed the hardware conversion from an Intel based DG8500 to an Aviion 25000 NUMA architecture. Awarded with 2 Sprint I/S Quarterly Excellence team awards.

Performed database conversions and dumping/loading of data in support of legacy systems' conversions. Led and project managed the conversion of a large application housed on an 88K based Data General machine (8500) to an Intel based DG (5900). Sole database support for a live production database with 24 by 7 coverage. Responsible for developing and implementing backup and disaster recovery plans. Responsible for over 70 major software upgrades, including the application of schema changes and the compilation of over 10,000 programs per release. Served on the RFP team that analyzed all vendor responses and selected a Data General Clustered environment. Served as Technical Team Leader in supervisor's absence.

UNIX Consultant at Sprint - converted as Sprint employee May 1996. Focused on support of initial implementation of the National Integrated Business System (NIBS). Responsibilities include interfacing with and mentoring the System Administrators (SA’s) and providing quick response to internal and external clients. Performed technical analysis and prepared white papers of multiple packages of Astea's "Surround Technology Software", including Remote-1, Manager’s Window and Paging. Developed initial Web site for Midwest Consulting Group. Responsible for system performance tuning as well as implementing security measures.

Major duties. The Cryptologic linguist performs and supervises detection, acquisition, location, identification, and exploitation of foreign communications a all echelons using signals equipment. Translates, transcribes, gists or produces summaries of foreign language transmissions in English/target languages. Performs collection management.
