As the head of Digital Solutions, I am part of the leadership team responsible for creating and executing Digital Strategies for Wealth Management, Asset Management, and Life Insurance businesses. Assembled an incredible team of world class digital talent, and am a key driver and leader in our organization's move to agile and our digital transformation roadmap. I lead the teams responsible for UX, UI/Visual Design and Front-end Engineering for all public/consumer websites at Ameriprise.

In this role I was responsible for the front-end development, build and promotion of all consumer-facing web applications at Ameriprise. My primary focus was to develop a new enterprise web platform that delivers on two competing goals: a modern UX and content delivery platform; and at the same time a system and process with strict controls that ensure a highly performant and secure environment for our clients and partners.

At HealthPartners I was responsible for planning and implementing the user experience of all consumer and business portals. The team I managed oversaw the key aspects of interactive initiatives - interactive strategy, front-end development, UX design, project management, business analysis, information architecture, usability testing, analytics and content management. In my role I was a key stakeholder in evaluating, selecting and implementing new portal and content management platforms. I was also responsible for implementing strong, repeatable project and platform management process as well as a consistent software development lifecycle. It was an exciting challenge to take complex services and translate them into a straightforward, clear web experience.

Designed, developed and managed two core Intranet applications from the ground up - the first for the HealthPartners Member Services Department and the second a larger scale digital asset management and training site for the Marketing & Sales department. Core technologies included ColdFusion, SQL, IIS, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
