Ensured that customer’s concerns were addressed and that meeting actions were recorded, completed and approved by all parties and achieved mile stone sign off with the customer.Led small teams of up to 3 engineers/CAD designers to complete design tasks to strict deadlines.Created CAD designs using CATIA or SolidWorks and used hand calculations and physical prototypes to verify design feasibility.Created engineering data including 2D drawings to BS 8888, specifications and test reports to internal company standards. Carried out environmental qualification testing for DEF STAN 00-35.Checker for engineering drawings and documentation produced by other engineers in the team. Provided guidance and mentoring for junior members of the team and delegated tasks under the supervision of the Engineering Manager. Installed and tested first of type product at customer facing trials events both in the UK and abroad. Show less

I gained valuable experience with all aspects of engineering design work including creation of design data, (3D CAD and 2D drawings), prototype manufacture, qualification testing and writing technical reports.
