Through crisis management planning, training and exercising I give leaders of businesses including Cathay Pacific, DP World, NFU Mutual and Stagecoach the capability and confidence to handle the worst days of their corporate lives, whether cyber attack, product recall, catastrophic accident or reputational issues. I have over 25 years' experience as a crisis management consultant providing consultancy to world leading companies, organisations and brands. I have coached, trained and rehearsed senior executives in North America, Europe the Middle East and Asia as well as offering crisis counsel to international clients. With my team at Insignia, I have produced countless crisis management plans and tested them with crisis simulations and training. I am trusted by my clients to give clear, constructive and insightful advice and perform to my best when working in a true partnership with my clients. I am Chair of Aston University's Crisis Centre, author of 'Crisis Proof - How to prepare for the worst day of your business life' and was named as one of the directors of the year in the 2020 Institute of Directors Awards. When I'm not engaged in my passion for protecting business value and reputation, you'll probably find me in the great outdoors on a long picturesque walk, watching the England cricket team or trying to maintain a positive attitude towards the fortunes of my beloved Aston Villa.
