The role evolved from leading most of software and a brief period of data science to a more focused role on data engineering, and then an internal tools and devops team. Our primary data infrastructure included ingestion from IoT devices, to a 100 step daily batch data process pipeline for data quality and model building, and data serving for our map based tools.We supported scientists, data scientists, designers, front end engineers, hardware engineers product, and business leaders.
