I am currently pursuing a medical engineering degree from Queensland University of Technology. As a child, I loved taking apart things and putting them back together. As I grew older, I started obtaining part-time jobs and was able to fund my curiosity and purchase components and construct different things. Strangely enough, human Biology has been the subject that I have been most passionate in since my high school years. The curiosity of the inner workings of my own body piqued my interest causing human biology to be my top scoring subject throughout my high school degree. Working in different teams in Queensland University of Technology to study theoretically and more importantly practically has not only improved my knowledge of my respective field but also enhanced my time organization skills, team coordination and leadership skills. In my current part-time jobs as a barista and a chess tutor, my communication and leadership skills are tested on a daily basis through providing efficient customer service and managing groups of young students from different schools. I am determined to venture into my respective field to procure job experience related to the degree I am passionate in.
