Jonathan Ilicki is a Principal at Industrifonden, an evergreen VC fund investing in innovations with world-changing societal impact. Trained as a medical doctor at the Karolinska University Hospital, Jonathan's initial career included clinical practice, research and co-founding a medtech startup. He has since accumulated several years’ experience of building and scaling up healthcare and technology companies. Jonathan is deeply passionate about using science and technology to improve healthcare at scale. Jonathan earned his MD from the Karolinska Institute, and holds an MSc and MBA from the Stockholm School of Economics. Additionally, he has an MA in Evidence-Basing from the University of Gothenburg, and is a Clinical Innovation Fellow at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology. In 2024 he was selected as a Europe Leader by the Obama Foundation. He is a professional keynote speaker and frequently invited to present on topics related to science, healthcare, technology and innovation.
