My most significant contribution to 24Slides as Marketing Manager was conceptualising, pitching an MPV, validating it, and then building/scaling a freemium content product (24slides.com/templates) to generate traffic and leads. This was the outcome of two disciplines I felt strongly about - content marketing and product-driven growth. In 2 years the product grew from zero to 150,000 weekly sessions with 1m+ registered users, who downloaded millions of slides. This contributed significantly to the acquisition of b2b customers and ultimately growth of the company. My role transitioned into overseeing hypothesis-based testing of the users to segment interesting cohorts to optimize for revenue. Furthermore, I led the implementation of the product into the greater revenue function, including marketing, sales, and business development. I've was involved in unifying PPC, SEM, SEO and CRO to build a full marketing ecosystem.

The Hippo Collective is an online magazine celebrating young thinkers, artists and creators. At our peak, we had 40k subscribers and over 150 student writers. I founded the magazine, recruited the initial writers as well as then the editorial team and led the expansion into universities all over the UK (both top-down and bottom-up). I also pitched advertisers and secured deals to fund the magazine. We also then hosted music events and I led the strategic expansion of that, along with negotiating with talent agencies (From CAA to smaller labels and agencies) as well as with nightclubs and local promoters. The magazine is no longer updated, nor hosted online.
