Hey all,My birth name is Jonathan Jensen Jr. Translated, it means ‘Jon John, Son of Jon’ - To save everyone, the trouble, I go by ‘JJ’.As a UX/UI geek, I love building meaningful experiences. I see incredible value in software’s ability to make light work of complex content and tasks. I typically gravitate towards simple, responsive solutions with UX at the core of my efforts, and find little more gratifying than building more intuitive or user focused solutions.As an Engineer, I’m excited by architecture and savvy solutions. As an architect, I’m passionate about patterns that minimize vulnerabilities and promote scalable and extensible software. I love rolling my own components, building libraries, and creating patterns that encourage reusability within a project. Though comfortable working alone, I’m a collaborative individual. I find the best solutions come from a broad range of experiences and enjoy watching how those perspectives take shape in a product. I typically excel in fast-paced environments where creativity and problem-solving are fundamental to achievement.Outside of my career in Software Development, I’m a husband, musician, skateboarder and sound engineer. I live in Denver, CO with my wife where we’re raising a rescued Pyrenees mix and renovating a home.
