The role of marketing technician was beyond the standard expectation of a marketing professional, dealing often with new and emerging technologies. One of the main responsibilities was building and assisting with development of WordPress websites for clients. Tasks included: • Page layout and design• Composition and writing of page content• Implementing widgets and other third-party plugins• Website migration• Technical maintenance of websiteMore marketing related tasks included:• Create marketing content for clients through video creation and editing• Scheduling and creating content on several social media for multiple clients• Manage and analyze marketing metrics and results of past campaignsIn additional to these duties, I was involved with customer service support by creating training/process documents for clients who want to manage website content such as blog posts and other elements of their websites.

MARKETING: Develop promotional video content through the use of drones on multiple media platforms. Assist in documentation review and creation.Maintain website layout and content. TECHNOLOGY:Troubleshoot Windows and Mac operating systems, Microsoft programs, and email. Run analytic reports on website traffic and other data metrics.

After working at CentraCare Health and developing stronger writing and management skills, I wanted to develop my marketing skills further at a similar sized company. At Anderson Trucking Service (ATS), I expanded my skill set in three main areas: Data Entry, Social Media, and Writing.DATA ENTRY:• Developed and analyzed Google Analytic reports to measure marketing efforts.• Organized and maintained customer lists across four divisions, providing accurate reporting and data entry of current and prospect lists.• Created personalized PowerPoint presentations for all divisions (Highway, Maritime, Projects, Logistics).SOCIAL MEDIA - LINKEDIN:• Drafted LinkedIn profiles for sales teams to bring more consistent messaging and improve professional development across employees within the company.• Researched and crafted the LinkedIn social media plan and guidelines for corporate account and individual sales representatives.WRITING:• Wrote marketing and web content for multiple platforms, including direct mail, brochures, case studies, and email promotions.• Assisted in editing and writing articles for the internal newsletter.

After taking a summer college class on grant writing, I applied for a grant writing internship at CentraCare Health Foundation where I researched grant opportunities and developed proposals. Outside of the scope of my internship, I have also assisted in managerial duties involved with grant funding and development of marketing/graphic design material for our annual Grant Forum. Management was done in collaboration with the Performance Improvement Department of CentraCare Health.In addition to my grant writing duties, I was also able to look at the internal grant submission system and help implement changes. Those changes included the creation of a training module to help instruct internal staff through CentraCare's internal grant submission process. Along with the training module, I traveled to all regional CentraCare hospital and clinics to provide training to staff. About 20-30 staff members attended each training session, including executive leadership.

Took over the position after one year as marketing and web specialist. Led a marketing team of three to market all Campus Recreation programs. Our team analyzed marketing efforts in areas of design and social media to improve effectiveness. Utilized B2C channels and other creative on campus marketing to accomplish our goals. Learned team management, web marketing, event planning skills, marketing analytics. Job aspects included: -Actively incorporated analytics into marketing channels -Project management from concept to design to completion -Oversaw design and web based projects -Planned and coordinated special event logistics

I conducted market research on social media to determine emerging marketing trends, maintained website content using Adobe Contribute, and created video marketing promotions.

Taught soccer skills and strategies to kids from as young as 2 years old to the high school level. With older teams (grades 1 and up) I promoted teamwork and cooperation. Setup fields for the soccer games and refereed games.
