Ancoats Dispensary, Manchester. Value £1.2m. Work stage E-J.Grade 2 listed building conversion. Design proposal included 13 residential apartments with A1, A2, A3 commercial space to ground floor. Responsibility for day to day running of job under supervision of project director. Regularly attended meetings with client, contractor, planning officers, consultants, quantity surveyor & CDM co-ordinator. Worked closely with m&e / structural engineer, contractor, quantity surveyor and product manufacturers to develop production information. Managed project admin. Key project phases included working drawing progression, production information for roof, balcony, window tender packages, development of tender documentation, tender action and initial site construction.Origin, Manchester. Value £50m. Work stage C-J. Mixed use scheme comprising 3 blocks of residential, hotel and office accommodation including A1, A2, A3 commercial space to ground floor. Sited in Whitworth St. conservation area and tentative Unesco world heritage site. Assisted in development of all GA plans, sections and elevations for planning submission. Attended design team meetings and regularly liaised with consultants to co-ordinate information towards planning submission. Typical responsibilities included design development of the office component and basement, including co-ordination of information from structural engineer, m&e, fire engineer and highways consultant. Responsibilities during work stage D-J included development of production information for Hotel component, assistance in design development of cladding tender package and detail design changes to basement whilst site construction progressed.
