As a part-time summer job while finishing university summer courses I worked at Fleetwood CRC as their Custodian and Facilities Maintenance Worker. Around 75% of my duties were inside the church involving the cleaning of the sanctuary, halls, program rooms, bathrooms, and offices. This involved vacuuming, sanitizing surfaces, and cleaning up after kids camps and other programs. The other 25% of my time was spent pressure washing the church exterior, focusing on the walls and walkways, and landscaping the church plant beds.

I was responsible for the well-being of 13 other dormitory members within my area. My responsibilities were to create a safe and encouraging environment, delegate weekly cleaning tasks, understand and resolve any conflict, and help organize and implement small (5-20 attendees) and medium size (50-100) events on campus with my fellow upperclassmen resident assistants. Through being a resident assist I gained tangible experience in event planning and organizing others to best fufill needed roles.
