As a member of the Transportation Team, a subset of the One Supply Chain initiative, I worked to save hard costs in shipping through optimized order planning and execution. In accomplishing over $1,000,000 in savings, I contributed to two primary applications: Vendor PlanEx is a React/Express application that serves as a web portal for Home Depot vendors. Its goal is to provide a styled, practical user interface into Shipment Creation and other back-end services. VendorPlanEx utilizes the Home Depot style guide as well as implementing custom CSS style sheets. We authenticate using internal login mechanisms, and provide authorization via tokens on each API call. The express layer handles these calls, sanitizes the request, and routes it appropriately to our suite of back-end services.DistributionOrderCreation is a Java SpringBoot application that serves as a back-end service, handling UI requests via RESTful architecture. It is designed to accept tXML files, read, and convert them to JSON, and submit them via Google PubSub to the next appropriate service. In addition, it utilizes JPA to provide pageable GET endpoints, completely filterable by validated query parameters. In the event an invalid parameter is provided or the application encounters an error, it is designed to gracefully handle the occurrence and provide meaningful feedback to the consumer, while alerting the support team with detailed messaging.

The Georgia Tech Coding Bootcamp allows students to learn essential and modern full-stack web development skills. As a Teaching Assistant, I work closely with students to guide their learning experience, troubleshoot their code and tackle technical bugs or gaps in comprehension, hold office hours to assist students one on one, and be present and active during class lectures to address questions and misunderstandings. 

6-month project-based curriculum includes: HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JQuery, Javascript, React, Node, Express, MySql, Sequelize, Mongo, Mongoose, git, command line, and TDD.
