I am the Canadian Managing Partner for Clients and Markets for KPMG in Canada.My prior roles include serving as KPMG’s Regional Managing Partner for the Greater Vancouver Area and as the National Leader for KPMG’s Industrial Markets Group and Technology Media and Telecom Group. I am also a member of the Management Committee for KPMG in Canada.I have more than 30 years of experience providing audit services and business advice to clients in a variety of industries including retail, manufacturing, distribution, transportation, life sciences, technology and not-for-profit. I have experience with private financings, public offerings, US and Canadian public reporting requirements, and business combinations. I continue work with large privately held groups spanning a number of industries and geographies. I frequently work with Boards and shareholders and addresses corporate governance issues.I am proud to have served as a Board member of the Faculty Advisory Board for the Sauder School of Business at UBC, on a number of community boards and as a governor of the Business Council of British Columbia. As a Founding Member and Advisory Board Member of the David and Sharon Johnston Centre fort Corporate Governance Innovation, gained valued insights into current and evolving issues in corporate and family governance. In 2013, I was recognized by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of BC with a Fellowship and in 2016 was recognized as the Strategic Partner of the Year by Life Sciences British Columbia.
