I'm quite a bit shorter than average with youthful looks, causing me to appear nearly 10 years younger than I am. Why do I point this out? Because it's forced me to outperform what is considered exceptional in order to get noticed (just imagine if you looked like a senior in high school and approached $100+ million or even $2+ billion companies as the one in charge of their project). There is a tremendous positive, though. It has given me the blessing of working with people who can see beyond the surface and appreciate what actually matters in business.
