Send a little message! * * * * * * * * * I am an applied design researcher with a PhD in social sciences and 10+ years of research experience in various fields and sectors (e-commerce, ed-tech, nonprofit, marketing, social science/policy). I help organizations and teams connect with their users' needs, behaviors, and motivations through a social-scientific lens and a user-centered approach. I design and conduct qualitative and quantitative studies, such as user interviews, surveys, and vendor research, to generate actionable insights that drive innovation and growth.In my most recent role as a Sr. Design Researcher at eBay, I collaborated with product managers, designers, and engineers to test and improve sales metric reporting tools, visual search tools, and long-view foundational persona development. I also initiated and managed multinational vendor research projects. I have a strong track record of producing measurable outcomes, such as increased engagement, retention, and revenue, for various organizations. I am also passionate about DEI and cross-cultural research, and have experience amplifying the voices of diverse and underrepresented groups.
