I am a leader in Education, with a strong, supportive, mentorship style of administration. I believe that collaboration at all levels of education inspires innovation and creates a positive staff culture where all students succeed. Innovative use of technology can support this work through improving communication and creating interaction for students and staff that may not be available in traditional classrooms. Throughout my career I have been able to bring these qualities out in the schools I work with. My experience in education has been wide-ranging. I have years of classroom teaching focused on the areas of science and technology from grades five through twelve. I have developed provincial online course-ware, taught in an online school, supported teachers as an educational technologist, and guided a rural K-12 school, a larger 10-12 composite high school, an urban K-9 school, and two outreach centres as Principal. I am an M. Ed graduate in the area of Multi-Disciplinary Leadership, with published research focused on educational technology in science classrooms. Recently I have taken on division level leadership in the areas of curriculum and student achievement. My career path has granted me a variety of insights into education and all the key stakeholders, from parents to central office staff and board trustees.
