I shoot, tag and upload editorial images (mostly hockey) for Getty Images Sport. I have also worked as a photo editor - both remotely and on-site - assisting other photographers with editing, captioning, and uploading photos for various events such as NHL games and the World Junior Hockey Championships. I am extremely proficient in using Photoshop, Lightroom, Photo Mechanic, FTP tools, and other industry-leading software to get images delivered to the client both accurately and efficiently.

Specializing in hockey photography since 2002, Jonathan has a huge amount of experience dealing with all aspects of team photography including head shots, action shots, and promotional shots for corporate advertisements. Currently servicing the Winnipeg Jets Hockey Club, Manitoba Moose Hockey Club, Hockey Manitoba, and various bantam, midget, and junior teams across the province, Point Shot Photography has become Manitoba's premier provider of digital hockey imagery. He welcomes inquiries to shoot individual players or entire teams at any level of play, in any sport.

In addition, my photos are submitted to NHL Images via the Getty website to provide instant access to various media outlets for use both in print and on the web. To accomplish these tasks, I am very proficient in the use of Photoshop and Lightroom software. The resulting images are used for game night programs, the team website, media guides, and various National Hockey League publications. I work in a fast-moving team environment where I must do my best to accommodate the shooting positions of other accredited photographers at the event.

My duties included taking photos of live game action, player head shots, and photos for promotional advertising. These images were used for various web and print media. As the primary affiliate of the NHL's Vancouver Canucks Hockey Club, many of my Manitoba Moose photos were used to by the parent club to promote the development of their young prospect players.
