I focused on the mainstream engineering market from product development to manufacturing and data management. I joined ESTEQ full time in January 2014 and worked in the technical department for three years gaining extensive experience on Computer-Aided Design as well as Finite Element Analysis simulation modelling using both Solid Edge and Unigraphics/NX software. Between Nov 2016 and Feb 2018, I worked as a contractor via Esteq for Denel Land Systems as an Expert Design and FEA simulation Engineer. My responsibilities included the design and validation of various parts and also extended to project and quality management.

Working at ESTEQ requires a holistic approach to Engineering.Due to the nature of the work, being almost entirely virtual, it is essential that an ESTEQ employee knows their way around computers and IT systems.My position has required me to become proficient in a very diverse range of specialties.I support CAD clients, using both Solid Edge and NX.I am the current expert on Solid Edge Simulation and also help clients using Advanced Simulation on NX.I have presented both CAD and FEA training courses on both Solid Edge and NX.I have experience in implementing Teamcenter PLM systems.I am gaining experience in the Tool and Die industry to support existing and future clients. I worked at ESTEQ as a student for two months during my university vacation. I was assigned a project whereby I needed to create concept designs for a high-strength security door for a client. This was a great learning platform for me.
