In addition to excellent evaluations (Final Summative Rating: Accomplished), specific examples from my most recent position as Principal of SHHS includes the following accolades earned by students in all three key areas of the educational experience – academics, athletics, and the arts:● 94.2% -- 4-year grad rate; an increase of 2.6% in one year’s time. (Graduation data are always delayed one year.)● 90.5%: 4-year grad rate for our AA Ss; an increase of 3.0% in one year’s time.● B: SHHS' grade (up from a D) on the state report card in the area of Gap Closing.● 85%: Approx. improvement (in 1 yr’s time) in # of AA Ss who enrolled and succeeded in AP classes thanks to our Bridges program. The sustained achievement and expansion of this program has been recognized at the local, state, and national levels.● 16.8%: Avg. gain in student scores, as we improved in all 7 HS indicators—w/ highest growth of 25.6% in Alg.
