PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY: Leading strategy around ConcertAI's largest pharma client to demonstrate the value of ConcertAI's oncology data products, increasing product use and revenue. Leading strategic planning and development of product roadmaps to further enhance data products. RESULT: Significant enhancement in data products that positions organization well for increase in revenue.SELF-DRIVEN INITIATVE: Creating and leading company-wide publication steering committee, to develop and implement comprehensive strategy around evidence generation and publication, using company's tools and data products. RESULT: Creation of evidence generation strategy and publication roadmaps that, when implemented, will lead to further use of data by clients.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY: Setting the strategy, creating the product roadmap and leading the team to enhance the Optum Electronic Health Record (EHR) data product in oncology, with the intent to license the data product to pharma companies. RESULT: The data product build and roadmap for further improvement provided incentive for pharma companies to sign multi-year, multi-million dollar data licensing agreements. INITIATIVE: Enabling clients to conduct more studies using the Optum EHR provider notes data by 1) allowing for client-guided and Optum-implemented note investigations, and 2) developing note-driven patient cohorts in conjunction with structured EHR data. RESULT: The development of an internal tool and process led to clients signing over one million dollars in project work.RESPONSIBILITY: Serve as the primary liaison between the product solutions team and the HEOR team to enable an improved working relationship between the two groups.RESULT: Led to increase in collaboration between the two teams.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY: Leading exploration/commercial use of electronic health record (EHR) data for use in HEOR studiesRESULT: Enabled signing of many revenue-generating EHR-based studies RESPONSIBILITY: Working with internal/external departments to identify/develop new business opportunities. RESULT: Led to signing of multi-year, multi-million dollar Federal subcontract for my division.RESPONSIBILITY: Providing statistical consulting to external clients on Federal and clinical studies. Leading HEOR internship program; supervising and mentoring 4-5 MPH and PhD students in EHR exploration. RESULT: Increased data use and revenue. Mentoring staff led to several internal hires, as well as positions with prestigious organizations. RESPONSIBILITY: Providing analytic and statistical oversight/mentoring to internal statisticians and support to researchers on HEOR studies, posters, abstracts. and manuscripts.RESULT: Led to multi-million dollars in revenue for division as well as multiple publications.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY: Expanding the role of the HEOR division by leading/overseeing Federal Government, and non-interventional Late Phase (Phase IIIb and IV) studies in all therapeutic areas-- Supporting proposal development (e.g. budget estimates and written text).-- Contributing to and coauthoring numerous abstracts, posters and manuscripts. -- Programming in SAS to analyze many types of data from a multitude of sources (e.g. clinical trial data -- all phases, medical and prescription claims, EHR, medical chart, detailed hospital inpatient, patient reported outcomes (PROs), longitudinal patient survey and clinical, and physician survey).- Developing new analytic business opportunities and lines.-- Collaborating with study sponsors, project managers, analysts, programmers, and research scientists.RESPONSIBILITY: Participating as the lead statistician in prospective and retrospective claims-based HEOR studies.RESULT: Helped drive multi-million dollar revenue for the division, as well as increase the scientific literature with abstracts, posters an peer-reviewed publications.
