Infantry Officer
CurrentCanadian Grenadier GuardsResponsible for the operations of the company, and routinely reports to the regiment's highest ranking officer. Oversees the planning, logistics, and personnel administration for various yearly operations.Key Contributions:• Acted as a coach and mentor for new recruits and planned multiple recruiting activities. Spearheaded the planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of training operations and special events as a Recruiting Officer / Infantry Company Second-in-Command. • Oversaw the attendance of over 600 guests and foreign diplomats at the annual military gathering at Parliament Hill, Ottawa, as the Foreign Liaison Officer. • As an Information Management Officer, installed and maintained a field communications network, and directed the information flow to and from multiple sources during a large-scale training operation with over 1,000 soldiers.• Commanded over 50 soldiers as Platoon Commander, conducting highly stressful simulated training exercises and providing constant feedback while multi-tasking between administrative and personnel management.
