I lead a mighty team of PMs managing the retail platform of choice for tens of thousands of merchants across the world. Our omni-channel cloud-based POS, inventory management and analytics platform enables multi-location merchants and franchise opertators to focus on optimizing their business growth.

For a federal ministry, I manage the launch of 2 products before the coming into force of new legislation by leading the scrum team, defining roadmaps and vision, and applying a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) approach. I lead 3 product teams simultaneously, managing 25 resources to deliver end-to-end solutions, including client-facing apps and internal administration platforms, for a $4.7M improvement program. I am also involved in training the department on developing a customer-focused mindset and other product management concepts.

I'm helping a large government organization move from a project management to a product mindset. I coach and mentor 6 product managers in their practice, providing them with tools, techniques, and training to improve their skills and develop a customer-focused mindset. I also help departments redefine their product offering by facilitating design thinking sessions with their teams.

As a director of products, I manage a team of highly skilled product managers building innovative insurance products on our one-of-a-kind platform. I'm also responsible for managing the development of core platform features. The platform supports the operations of all the insurance products developed with our partners including quotes, sales, enrolment, payment, claims, reporting and administration.I've led multiple innovation sessions and workshops based on various innovation techniques like jobs-to-be-done and design-thinking. I also helped transition the development approach to an agile methodology based on Scrum principles by working in close collaboration with the director of engineering and other managers.Always keen on helping other product managers develop their abilities, I've put in place multiple tools and best practices to help the team be more efficient and more productive and I also mentor aspiring product managers in the Ottawa area.

As a senior product manager for the Payments and Risks operations, I'm responsible for the support of the backbone of the business. Whether its the integration with new international payment partners via API or file-based solutions, add new rules to the risk auto-verification system doing KYC and AML validations or supporting the ops team in the reconciliation of the billion dollars the firm is moving annually, my duty is to make sure that the platform is able to scale to meet the increasing demand and that it's ready to face its next challenge; end-to-end automation of its operations. In that regard, I'm also responsible for the planning and roadmap of the platform as well as defining the objectives and measuring the key metrics needed to track our progress towards our goals.

For the Corporate Solutions department, I am the domain architect responsible for the electronic signature and electronic payments domains. My role is to promote and explain electronic signature to the lines of business.I'm involved in a PCI-DSS compliance program aimed at providing a secure and reliable corporate ePayment solution for all the lines of business, partners and affiliates.I've also defined the governance principals (Service offerings, Roles and responsibilities, managing principles, OLAs, SLAs, etc.) for various teams and projects.

Represented 15 lines of business for the development of a document editing and viewing application used by over 2,000 people aimed at decommissioning 3 other applications. Coordinated the testing and deployment of the application in an agile setting. Oversaw the development of a new layer of SOA services exposing the functionalities of the underlying enterprise content management (ECM) system. Designed a granular security model from the ground up.

I'm involved as a lecturer and mentor for the students participating in the RAC program, aimed at allowing experienced software programmers to obtain a technical diploma based on their experience rather than their time in class.

Member of the enterprise architecture team, I was mainly assigned to the Annuities and wealth management projects of La Capitale Financial Group, I was responsible for assuring the coherence and feasibility of software development projects that were assigned to the IT department. I also provided technical support to senior management regarding software development initiatives, product development and business processes review. I oversaw the successful integration of the legacy annuities back office system to the FundSERV network, that doubled sales of annuities in 5 years.I was coherence and timeliness of development initiatives by the various development teams as well as collaborating to the planning of the release of features and bug fixes. I assisted in the strategic business analysis of the sales and customer services sector by producing multiple business scenario analyses and business cases including the securitization platform upgrade, business intelligence and reporting initiatives and defining the operational data store (ODS) roadmap.

I participated in multiple projects simultaneously with clients in the Government sector. I had the opportunity to be part of large-scale software development projects (over 4500 man-days) on different occasions. I was responsible for different feasibility studies as well as impact and risks analysis for clients. I conceived the complete business and functionality architecture for software systems as well evaluate the development costs, define development strategies and migration plans.I was involved in the management of a software development teams of 15 to 25 employees, including consultants and internal resources. I was responsible for making sure the proper business and software architecture was respected, validating business cases, managing daily activities of the development team, participating in recruitment interviews, helping the project manager in resources assignments and facilitating requirement meetings with clients.

Worked on a 4 months contract for a government client as a Business Analyst for the replacement of a system Waste Management. I was responsible for defining business processes, supervising the installation and testing of the replacement application and was also responsible for user training.

As a freelance business analyst, I was involved in the development of a replacement solution for the income tax treatment software solution for the Quebec Ministry of Revenue. I was also responsible for supervising functional tests of the application.
