- Provide leadership to guide the organization’s growth and impact.- Foster a positive and inclusive organizational culture.- Represent MTSO in public forums, meetings, and media engagements.- Advocate for policies and initiatives that support sustainable and efficient transit systems.- Collaborate with government agencies, community groups, and other stakeholders.- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the organization.- Ensure effective utilization of resources and manage budgets.- Supervise and support volunteer staff and teams.- Build and maintain strong relationships with community members, partners, and supporters.- Organize and participate in outreach activities, events, and campaigns.- Solicit feedback from the community to inform organizational initiatives.- Identify and pursue funding opportunities to support the organization’s programs and initiatives.- Develop and implement effective communication strategies to promote MTSO’s mission and activities.- Prepare and disseminate newsletters, press releases, and reports.

- Greeting passengers throughout the terminals- Providing general directions to washrooms, restaurants, gates, airport services and more- Responding to basic passenger inquiries with thoughtful, enthusiastic and accurate answers- Enhancing the overall passenger experience at Pearson- Informing passengers of any relevant changes or events within the terminal (e.g. new installations, events, etc)

- Provides swimming instruction, skill evaluation, and safety supervision of participants, accident prevention, rescue skills, public education and public relations.- Plans, conducts and implements safe and educational swimming lessons.- Ensures that the appropriate equipment is in place and operational and that the equipment is stored away after use.- Attends and participates in meetings and training sessions.- Executes emergency procedures and uses safety/rescue equipment.- Ensures compliance with Ontario Health Regulations and all relevant legislation and Policy and Procedures manuals.- Performs tasks to support the program including report cards and worksheets.- Performs maintenance/janitorial duties, including but not restricted to: change room/washroom cleaning and disinfecting, pool chemistry tests, vacuuming, backwashing, chemical balancing, and pool fouling clean up.- Follows the principles of Healthy Child Development (HIGH FIVE) in the planning and delivery of programs.
