I get to work autonomously with minimal direction, managing the technical implementation of large scale Audio Visual systems in collaboration with A/V integrators from all over the DC area. We all work to satisfy our clients, but I've found it important to remember that everyone involved is a client in some way. From the install team to the project.

Slye took a chance on me when they gave me the opportunity to fill an opening in the software department. With minimal formal instruction, I was "thrown into the fire" and tasked with figuring out how to bring the A/V systems to life. It wasn't long before I established a strong reputation for successfully tackling any and every technical challenge I faced.

In early 2006 I was exploring a potentially lucrative partnership performing high-end home theater installations in the DC and Montgomery County, MD region when I was given the opportunity to work in commercial A/V installation instead. I chose to join the Slye team and regard it as one of the best career decisions I've made so far.

I'm old enough to remember when we could buy transistors while Christmas shopping at the mall. Working in retail electronics taught me how to listen thoughtfully, analyze people's needs, and construct creative solutions with technology.

Few local TV and stereo shops were strong enough to weather the financial collapse of 2008. Sadly, Graffiti was no exception, but I owe them my start in the world of electronics, working part time during high school and summers during college.
