I worked as a consultant to the insurance industry by helping agencies leverage technology to drive organic growth and increase retention. My territory included Nebraska, Western Iowa, and the Kansas City metro. As a strategic partner, I worked with agency principals to educate and train producers to utilize tools to shorten sales cycles, increase close ratio, increase unique meetings, and prospect larger accounts. At Foss Swim School, I began my career as an hourly employee. Over the next three years, I moved from instructor, to assistant manager and finally to Site Director of the company’s busiest location. As Site Director, I was responsible for ensuring the success of a team of more than 30 employees. My responsibilities involved hiring, scheduling, training, annual and quarterly budgeting, staff development, client relations, and facility maintenance. During my time as Site Director, the location saw a consistent increase in clients and revenue. I was awarded the annual "Light Bulb" customer service award in 2001 and 2004.
