Our mission, to fund diabetic research and to help educate the public, while combating this horrible disease.Nearly 26 million Americans have diabetes, which translates into over 8% of the population. With 18.8 million diagnosed cases of diabetes that still leaves 7 million undiagnosed cases; as many as 3 million of those cases are type 1 diabetes. By 2030 diabetes is expected to affect as many as 552 million people worldwide. With a foundation such as ours, the hope is to start early education of the disease and help to find a cure.The generosity of donors like you is vital as researchers continue efforts to search for a cure, help people with diabetes, and invest in the health of future generations. JUST TRYAN IT is raising funds to help kids with cancer. To date, we have given $200,000 to Georgetown University Hospital’s Pediatric Hematology / Oncology Unit Family Assistance Fund. This fund strives to help families in treatment with emergency needs such as transportation to and from the hospital, housing costs, counseling, sibling support, and much more.
