At BCG, I am a core member of the Private Equity team in Boston. I also have case work experience across a range of industries including retail, energy, and healthcare. My project work has included:● Multiple due diligence assignments for leading private equity firms, assessing opportunities in TMT, specialty retail, healthcare, energy, industrial goods, and transport and logistics● Analyzing and assessing the pricing methodology of a major North American retailer● Assessing the capital strategy for a major electric utility, including building capex forecasting and benchmarking models● Designing portfolio of customer service initiatives for an electric utility and supporting implementation● Designing management systems for large U.S. healthcare payer

MassVentures is an early-stage venture capital firm focused on funding innovative, technology-driven companies in Massachusetts. My responsibilities included analyzing economic and industry trends and identifying potential investment opportunities, evaluating opportunities through meetings with early stage technology companies, and managing due diligence on selected investment opportunities, including financial and competitive analysis, financial model validation, company valuation, and industry and market research.

Senior transactional lawyer for Australia’s leading corporate law firm. Negotiated complex merger agreements, managed project teams, and developed strategic recommendations for senior management and boards of directors of major multinational companies.Represented the interests of leading global corporations and financial sponsors on corporate governance, fundraising, and M&A issues. Notable clients included GE, Goldman Sachs, Och-Ziff, QVT Financial, Blackboard Inc, Telstra Corporation, National Australia Bank, and AXA Asia Pacific Holdings.

National Australia Bank is one of the four largest financial institutions in Australia. I was seconded on a full-time basis as Senior Legal Counsel to the Capital & Funding Team. While at NAB, I was responsible for managing the legal aspects of a range of capital markets transactions and collaborating with stakeholders in Treasury, Finance, Risk and HR on major strategic projects.

As a summer intern in the Private Equity Team, I researched legal issues affecting private equity clients, developed fund formation documents, and drafted a disclosure document for the merger of a large Australian gold company.

As a summer intern in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group, I researched the legal implications of using derivatives in M&A transactions, prepared legal advices on takeovers issues, and conducted due diligence for the sale of a major Australian media company.

As an intern in the Corporate & Commercial Group, I prepared a key research paper on the financing of takeover offers in Australia, prepared legal advices for clients on various corporate law issues, and drafted a range of commercial agreements.
