Beyond tax compliance and tax return preparation, I work pro-actively through the year on income tax planning to avoid tax surprises. Clients count on me to provide a deep understanding of complex gift and estate planning strategies so once the long-term plans are laid, the annual plan compliance can be administered smoothly and correctly. Also, by getting involved early in the planning process and staying close to the client I have time to act rather than being forced to react.
