Week 2: This week i started off by getting the basic layout for the opening cutscene. The camera will wait for the opening animation to play then will pan through the level before transitioning to the proper game view. Next i worked with Nathan to get the menus to go through the levels with the proper camera transitions. Finally I put it all together to have the basic layout for all the camera scenes in the game. Other things include getting artists involved with the project as well as talking with Justin to get some music/audio for our game.Week 3 goals: Next week i will be working with Nathan on getting a custom shader started.

Week 1: Imported assets for unity cinemachine and got basic camera functionality working in a test scene. Went over game script with group finalizing ideas for where we want to story to be for the demo as well as for full release. The major parts to the GDD have been completed but will be adding to it over the coming weeks.Week 2 goals: Get the opening cinematic layout and working without any bugs. As well as making a camera transition for stages in the level.

Week 3: This week we took part in Global Game Jam that went on from Jan 25- 27. In terms of capstone not much was dons this weekend but we gained a lot of experience from this event. We also got to team up with Justin who is now on broad and willing to do the music/sound effect for our game. Once that was over Nathan and I sat down to work on a custom shader for unity. We ended up making a shield shader using the vert and frag code in unity that turned out fairly well. In other news artists have gotten back to us with a rough sketch of how our main character will look and also had more meeting with our teachers.Week 4 goals: For next week Nathan and i will continue to work and understand the unity custom shaders and we are hoping to have a fire shader going by the end of next week.
