Developing great relationships develops great success, and many I work with say that I excel at building those relationships through technical expertise, a great sense of humor and a knack for uncovering and understanding what people want. While working as a Solutions Architect and Sales Engineer, being able to solve customers' problems starts with building a rapport that ensures their confidence in my abilities. My success in those fields can be attributed to building that rapport and cementing it through effective support, therefore reinforcing my reputation through customers' recommendations themselves.Taking that same methodology and applying it to the challenge of product marketing is my goal, as learning what new customer bases need and applying the technologies I work with to fulfill it helps expand into new markets. This goal allows me to help more people faster in this fast-moving universe of tech.Through my career I have tackled problems in the smallest of customers through to multiple Fortune 100 companies, bringing in or supporting over two dozen in the past year. I put my foot in the door with the marketing department by participating in multiple persona and product marketing meetings, helping to establish who in what verticals we were going after and with what messaging while working directly with our Sales Development Rep team to effectively tackle the largest with Account Based Marketing (ABM). During this I worked with Cybersecurity, IT Operations and Network Operations (NetOps) teams to source their core infrastructure issues and build up their confidence in platforms from Checkpoint, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, Cisco, Fireeye, Symantec Bluecoat and more. This was on top of my previous experience with the Small to Medium Business (SMB) market where I integrated Email Security, Data Protection and Network Security into both single-pane-of-glass deployments and complex multi-vendor deployments with a specialty in Public Cloud deployments while also working with the Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) team to bring in Anti-Phishing and Anti-Spearphishing as the program's Evangelist, developing their marketing, training and lead generation.
