Network Engineer for IBMI perform operations and maintenance (O&M) on the IBM Cloud Network. Some of the tasks that I work on a daily basis include:- Deploy vCenter NSX Edge Routers and Distributed Logical Routers- Deploy Customer NSX Firewall Rules- Manage Checkpoint Firewalls and deploy Customer Firewall Rules- Deploy and harden network switches, routers, and load balancers using DISA STIG Guidelines- Make updates to routing and switching equipment to support onboarding/offboarding customers- Deploy and manage A10 / F5 / Cisco ACE load balancer contexts- Deploy virtual services on various platforms of load balancers- Maintain password management for network devices- Perform IP management tasks including assigning and deploying subnets for customers in a cloud environment- Perform network troubleshooting on cloud devices to ensure end to end connectivity and security- Provide metrics on supported networks and devices for billing purposes- Provide guidance and training to team members- Follow change approval board procedures to track and implement changes on network devices
