Managing the Sourcing team in charge of motors and gears for turbine pitch and yaw, metal coated parts and C-parts. In the area of offshore wind turbines, I am responsible for the bought out parts of 1st equipment for factory supply but also for Commissioning/Service needs.

The existing Haliade-1 fleet of 6MW turbines are operating offshore in France and Germany. GE OFW Service is the team of professionals responsible of making sure these machines never miss a gust of wind because of a breakdown. Supply Chain Management provides the logistic, material and workforce support to fleet Engineering and site teams around the world. For more than three years, I led the construction of a new Sourcing & Procurement team who together with Tool center, Warehousing and Fulfillment represented the main pillars of the SCM department. My Sourcing team was split between Nantes and Barcelona, optimizing the synergies with the Engineering headquarters in both locations. The Procurement team was based in Galicia (Spain) working closely with Fulfilment to make sure parts arrived on schedule, contracts were fully compliant and invoices paid on time. In Sourcing, we were also responsible to develop the supplier panel of service providers for every planned or unplanned preventive campaign, and occasionally corrective actions that avoid any turbine down situation. Last but not least, we bought all the required consumables, office supplies and indirect material. I hired professionals in UK and US to help me to build the supplier portfolio of the new generation Hal-X turbines in new sites like Dogger Bank UK, Vineyard US. I was speaker on customer supplier's events to support the localization and actively participated in wind fairs in Spain, France and UK.

Purchasing Project Manager of Powertrain and Nissan pick up'sI managed two teams of controllers with dual responsibility: - Reduction of the total delivered cost for locally produced pick up's to meet global competitiveness Kpi. The scope included cross-badged vehicles produced for Alliance partner's: Daimler&Renault. - Cost control of Powertrain parts for all engines that equip or will equip Nissan cars produced in Western Europe. Coordination with Renault and Daimler on co-developed engines. PDCA monitoring of engine cost for vehicles under development like new Juke and new Qashqai. The role also involved sourcing leadership of new LCV variants for S&M events, minor changes or model updates (Euro6d emission regulation, styling, etc).

Responsible of Chassis, Materials and Body in White bought out parts for Nissan production sites in Western Europe / Senior local supplier performance manager in Barcelona Branch of Renault Nissan Purchasing Organization. Managing a team of 27 people: 20 in Barcelona, 6 in two UK sites and 1 controller in Paris.The scope covers an annual turn over of approximately 1800 m€ and more than 100 suppliers. In coordination with RNPO headquarter, we deploy the panel strategy, manage sourcings for new models and follow the performance (QCDDM) of our suppliers. I am also responsible of preparing the Raw Material expenditure reports and market forecast. Scope: - Chassis: Fuel system, Exhaust system, Steering system, Suspension system, Wheel&Tires, Axles and member part link, pedals and jacks, bearings. - Body in White parts and metal bumpers - Direct Materials: Paint, oil, aluminum, steel, sealings, etc (for in-house) Manufacturing sites = Nissan Motor Iberica SA, Nissan Motor UK, Nissan Avila, Renault Flins, Cantabria forging plant and Nissan Sant Andreu stampingAs transversal task, in Barcelona office I am the manager who works with HHRR in the hiring selection process for Purchase (24 new staff since 2012)

Based at Nissan Motor Iberica in Barcelona (Spain), I am manager of a team of 7 controllers in charge of buying the Chassis platform of every Nissan car and truck built in W.Europe. The scope covered 7 maing commodity groups and 80 suppliers for an annual Purchasing turn over of 950 m€.

Based at NissanTechnical Center in Cranfield (UK), I was the manager of a team of 5 controllers in charge of purchasing the electric & electronic parts of every Nissan car& truck built in Western Europe. The scope covered 15 main commodities and 20 major suppliers for a annual purchasing turn-over of 590 M€.During 1&1/2 year, I combined the section manager's job with a temporary role as Purchasing Project Manager of new electric vehicle LEAF. My main task was the localization of suppliers in Europe for a new model to be manufactured in Sunderland UK.

Responsible of the QCDM suppliers’ performance for the alternator and starter motor of all vehicles made in Europe by Renault, Nissan and Dacia in 14 manufacturing sites. Purchasing T/O of 220 M€/y. - Managing a team of 2 engineers and doing coordination tasks with local purchasing antennas in Spain, India, MSU and Korea (Samsung Motors).
