CurrentI provide sustainability expertise in support of regional strategies, such as the Climate Change Program implementation at the Los Angeles Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro), including preparation of Metro’s Urban Greening Plan; Metro’s 2016 Energy and Resource Report; the greenhouse gas reduction strategy for the Port of Long Beach’s Climate Adaptation and Coastal Resilience Plan; and the Program EIR for SCAG’s 2016–2040 Regional Transportation Plan / Sustainable Communities Strategy (RTP / SCS).I also manage numerous waste, water, and renewable energy projects, including a Fatal FlawAnalysis for a Landfill Expansion project; siting and commercialization plans for a containerizedanaerobic digestion project that generates more than 40,000 kWh of electricity and 70,000 kWh of heat; an Environmental Impact Report for 450 square miles of new development in Los Angeles County that involve changing local ordinances to allow water to be brought from off-site locations to provide rural single-family housing lots with potable water; a Wind Energy Project that can generate up to 299 GWh of electricity annually; and a 6,730-acre Renewable Energy Project that can generate 200 MW of electricity from wind turbine generators and 150 MW from photovoltaic solar panels.
