I am passionate about all things data. I am experienced business intelligence and business analytics manager who has helped build and transform BI strategies for multiple companies. Information is now one of every company's greatest assets, and learning how to use it well is now a necessity for a company to reach the top.I recently joined the FP&A team at Rogers Group Inc. to help them build a data and analytics strategy, and modernize their data use, and expand their reporting capabilities using IBM Cognos Analytics.Previously, I was the Enterprise Data Warehouse Manager at ProAssurance Corp., an insurance company specializing in insurance for medical and legal professionals and workers' comp. During my tenure, we modernized and refreshed the HCL line of business's reporting and brought new analysis to the company.I was the Business Intelligence Manager for Mspark, an advertising company. My responsibilities included data integration from the company's various systems into a data warehouse used for reporting, report requirement gathering, task delegation, BI administration, as well as some report and dashboard authoring using IBM Cognos Analytics.I worked as an application analyst and developer for Deltek products from 2003 to 2013 with Intergraph and Dynetics, both located in Huntsville, AL. At Dynetics, my responsibilities included database and business report administration. Our systems include Deltek's Costpoint, Time and Expense with Employee Self-Service, wInsight, and Cobra as well as IBM Cognos Business Intelligence (v 10.2) and an in-house proposals and contracts management system.
