I am an Electrical Engineer with a Bachelor's of Science from Purdue University. I am a critical thinker and problem solver, and perform exceptionally under pressure. I am passionate about helping others and believe that my skills in electrical engineering will give me the opportunity to create a modern solution to modern problems. At Purdue I focused my studies on power circuits, motor control and microcontroller applications. I was a member of the Aerospace Team and Battery Team for Purdue Electric Racing my freshman and sophomore years. In the fall of 2020 I completed my senior design with a team of two other electrical engineers and a computer engineer where we developed our product, BinSense. BinSense was an object detection system for application in overhead compartments of airplanes meant to help passengers board the airplane more efficiently. As the lead hardware engineer for the team I was responsible for assembling and connecting all the circuits and hardware components of the system.In 2019 I was an Electrical Engineer Intern at Capital Industries where I assembled and tested industrial machines. I was given hardware blueprints and electrical schematics and assisted the company in any task that was required of me. I had my first experience with HMI systems working on Fanuc 7-axis robots, laser cutting, and strict deadlines. I have Fusion 360 experience from my time in Purdue Electric Racing. I am skilled with circuit design and soldering from senior design and my class studies. I am well practiced with C/C+, Python and MATLAB programming. I have done numerous projects utilizing Arduino microntrollers and Raspberry Pi microcomputers, including automated lighting, an alarm clock with phone connectivity, and a handheld game system. I am skilled at problem solving and critical thinking, as well as remaining calm under pressure. I work well in team settings and leadership positions, and I have experience in both.
