Brought the drug Belumosudil, which received both Orphan Drug designation and Breakthrough Therapy Designation, from pre-clinical in vitro and animal studies into the clinic and towards its current approval for Chronic Graft versus Host Disease.

Immunology Research on the role of Regulatory T-cells in autoimmunity, inflammation and cancer and the divergent development of Treg and Th17 cells.Won departmental grant that was funded by the National Cancer Institute. Changed the focus of laboratory and published in a top tier immunology journal. Research publication was hand selected by the top immunology reviews journal, Nature Reviews Immunology, for editorial because of the importance of findings. Trained graduate students, undergraduate students and postdocs in lab techniques and technologies.
