RJO'Brien (UK) Ltd is a privately owned Futures Commission Merchant.Utilising the full Microsoft technology stack I was responsible for enhancing existing web based applications, server-side applications and providing comprehensive documentation for technical and non-technical audiences.During my brief time with RJO'Brien I designed and implemented a well-received MVC application for the Chicago arm of the company. This application facilitates the transfer of trades from the European (Oracle and SQL server based) systems to the American platform. Additionally I authored an application to provide detailed reports and analysis to the Risk department including real time position, P&L and risk overview.

Technical Lead - Ebillz Web SolutionsChess provide digital services to the telecommunications sector. In my time at Chess I have worked as Technical Lead within Partner Services where I have designed and developed web based services for tariff based billing. I also worked for the whole group on an e-contract and electronic signature project. Working through the whole project life-cycle, I also designed and developed a whole company sales orders system.Working as a team within an Agile environment my functions have required presenting to key stakeholders and supporting partners and developers, both nationally and internationally.

JPLUS Ltd is a Microsoft certified, registered data controller, specializing in database and web based solutions.Designed, developed and implemented web applications and services for online business management applications to clients primarily within the education sector. This involved modelling and designing databases (predominantly SQL server) – employing at least Boyce-Codd normalisation rules, authoring efficient stored procedures and other SQL code of considerable complexity. Server-side code was developed with ASP.NET utilising the SOLID principles of object orientated design. On the front-end websites were created to be accessible from a gamut of platforms and web browsers through the authoring of bespoke HTML and CSS code. Additionally, server calls were reduced via the tailored authoring of client-side Javascript and JQuery code to facilitate the local processing of data and other functionality.Managed Electronic Data Interfaces with client side software providing support to over 700 active client users.Provided analytical services to the education sector, including schools and local authorities through close liaison with the DfES analytical team.Data warehousing: created a database driven reporting package which amalgamated data across four point of sale (POS) systems for a large international retailer to provide combined financial reports to the board.Developed technical documentation, compliance documentation and user training manuals.Provided controls to ensure systems were compliant with current data protection regulations.
