Jonathan heads Gateley's Commerce, Technology & Media team in Manchester. He specialises in intellectual property, information technology, commercial agreements and competition law, handling both contentious and non-contentious matters for local, national and multi-national businesses.Jonathan is well known in the technology and life sciences sector and acts for a number of bio medical businesses. He has particular expertise in the licensing and commercial exploitation of products, technology and devices invented or developed by spin outs from Univerities, including the drafting of licence, assignment, cooperation, joint venture, distribution and research and development agreements.
