After six and a half years of being an electrician and learning the ins and outs of the trade, I have decided to pursue a career that I find more passion in. Being a commercial and residential electrician has taught me a plethora of skills that will stick with me forever. Some of the prominent skills I have learned throughout the years are the ability to intricately problem solve, understand complex schematics and plans, and deal with customers in a respectful manor. One of the more motivational aspects of being an electrician was customer satisfaction. It always made me happy when I was able to provide a solution or service that not only solved the issue, but that the customer was happy with.My experience in the electrical industry provided me with the skills and mindset that will carry over to my successful career in the IT/Networking industry.
