Jonathan M. Saenz, Esq., is a licensed Texas attorney and the President of Texas Values, a statewide nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and advancing a culture of family values in the state of Texas. Jonathan’s work on these issues spans two decades. Jonathan has achieved success at the highest levels in law and policy, including the U. S. Supreme Court, the Texas Supreme Court, the Texas Capitol and at numerous local government venues in Texas. Jonathan is a leading statewide voice on religious liberty, traditional marriage and family and protecting innocent unborn children. Texas Values is the official family policy council associated with Focus on the Family. Prior to leading Texas Values (2012), Jonathan headed the First Liberty Institute offices at the Texas Capitol in Austin where he served as Director of Legislative Affairs and Attorney for First Liberty Institute (2007-2012). He frequently presents research, analysis, and testimony before the Texas Legislature, State Board of Education, and other government entities on various issues affecting faith, family, and freedom.
