I have been working in the electronic security industry for over 27-years, having served as a junior trainee engineer and worked my way through various departments (System Design, Sales, Project Management, Installation, Commissioning, Senior Management and Consultancy), culminating in me now operating as a Company Managing Director and Senior Security Consultant providing technical design, project management and account management services to other specialist consultancies and system installers, operating throughout Europe and Middle East.My experience within the industry ranges from CCTV design and installation through to Operational Procedures. I have experience with many disciplines within the electronic security industry including CCTV, Digital and Network recording, access control, intruder detection, perimeter detection, number plate recognition, radar surveillance, vehicle scanning, baggage and personnel scanning/screening, IP infrastructure etc.. In the last couple of years I have been working closely with another security consultancy and I have developed my understanding of operational procedures and requirements.I have worked on many high-security and prestigious contracts, gaining valuable knowledge and experience, throughout Europe and the Middle East, including airports, military and government, educational, industrial, commercial and domestic sites. Previous responsibilities include full system design, project management with profit and loss responsibility and service/commissioning engineer roles. My next goal is to embark on a University degree course, for which I have an un-conditional offer, studying security design and risk management, as well as starting on the Physical Security Professional accreditation from ASIS.
